Jaco Babysitters Club connects families in Jacó, Herradura, Playa Hermosa, and Esterillos with vetted local babysitters. We take your family's privacy seriously and only collect what we need to provide safe, reliable childcare.

• Parent details: name, email, and phone number — used to coordinate bookings.
• Children's info: number of children and their ages — shared with your chosen sitter so they can prepare.
• Booking notes: any details you share (allergies, routines, etc.) — shared only with the sitter you book.
• Sitter profiles: name, photo, bio, rates, and certifications — shown publicly to help parents choose.
• Sitter applications: full application details and CV/resume — used only for vetting and stored securely.

• To match families with suitable sitters and coordinate bookings.
• To notify sitters of booking requests and manage approvals.
• To vet and interview sitter applicants.
• To improve our service and keep our sitter roster trustworthy.

We never sell your data. We don't share your information with third parties except as needed to complete a booking (e.g., sharing booking details with your chosen sitter).

All payments are made directly between parents and sitters — by cash, SINPE, or bank transfer. Jaco Babysitters Club does not process or store any payment card information.

Booking records are kept so you can review past bookings. Sitter applications are retained for our records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
